Earlier today I updated my Internet Explorer with the lastest version.  I am running Xp, and when the latest version was installed and up and running, I noticed that there was nothing to indicate my Favorites.  Now I am not the smartest person when it comes to computers, so bear with my descriptions.  Anyhow, I could not seem to find a link to go to my favorites, so I went and did a System Restore, two in fact, with the same results.  Is there any way I can recover the data for my Favorites?  I have boo coo of them and like a dummy I didn't list them.  Any help you can give this old fart will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.  Sam

Try right clicking an empty spot on the standard toolbar (the one with the foward/back arrows) Click customize, highlight Favorites on the left side, click ADD then close. Not sure if it will bring back your favorites, but at least you will have a Favorites button to click and see what's there.

Sorry to sound stupid but do I have to right click anywhere special?  For the record I have no clue was to what version was initially installed, I got the automatic update mesage and like a fool clicked on it.

If this is any help I have Google for my home page.  Sorry, but I am dead tired, loooooooooooooooong week.

Okay, seems that I had to import my favorites from IE to Google, so they are all recovered, all 154 of them!!!

Just right click anywhere up there where your back and forwards buttons are. Then click on customize and add favorites to the right side of the list.
