| Earlier today I updated my Internet Explorer with the lastest version. I am running Xp, and when the latest version was installed and up and running, I noticed that there was nothing to indicate my Favorites. Now I am not the smartest person when it comes to computers, so bear with my descriptions. Anyhow, I could not seem to find a link to go to my favorites, so I went and did a System Restore, two in fact, with the same results. Is there any way I can recover the data for my Favorites? I have boo coo of them and like a dummy I didn't list them. Any help you can give this old fart will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sam |
| Try right clicking an empty spot on the standard toolbar (the one with the foward/back arrows) Click customize, highlight Favorites on the left side, click ADD then close. Not sure if it will bring back your favorites, but at least you will have a Favorites button to click and see what's there. |
Sorry to sound stupid but do I have to right click anywhere special? For the record I have no clue was to what version was initially installed, I got the automatic update mesage and like a fool clicked on it. |
Just right click anywhere up there where your back and forwards buttons are. Then click on customize and add favorites to the right side of the list. |
