I was at the shop and saw a Colt match? rifle ( IIRC it was stamped match or Competition) .  It had a 1/7 twist barrel, A2 sites, same forepieces as my BM.

The courious part is it didn't have the block over the seer in the lower like the other Colts I have seen, there was no evidence of one having been removed.

The other courious part is the finish on the barrel, rear sight, and lower matched almost identical (black with a greenish tint) the upper reciever was just a black finish.

I know this info is vague, but anyone have any idea if this is a correct rifle or a mixed bag.
Also any idea what this should cost about.  really doesn't look like it was shot all that much.

Thanks,
Bob

New Colts don't have the sear block, the lowers just aren't milled out where the auto sear goes.
