Heavy whipping cream (raw) in your coffee is an almost euphoric experience.  Why have I never done this!!!!!

Tried it once.  Not bad.  The cream tends to separate in the coffee though so you need to drink it quick or constantly stir.  I prefer half and half or actual coffee creamer.

I tried a Vietnamese coffee at a local restaurant.  It was slow dripped into the cup at the table with sweetened, condensed milk.  Absolutely delicious, (and probably around 500 cal. ).

Been doing this for several years and just gave it up about 2 weeks ago to start drinking black again.  I drink 1-2 pots of coffee a day and even with just a slash of cream in a cup it was/is a lot of calories and my jeans ain't accommodating my gut like it use to.  It is OK to do if on a Keto diet but when not it adds pounds!

If you think that's good, try a little whipped cream from a can on top, with Walden Farms No Cal/No Carb Caramel drizzled on top.  Added bonus -- it's keto compliant.  Pro tip: Stock up.  There's an NO2 shortage in the offing, and the supplies are going to dentists first.

I prefer a splash of half and half, personally.

One advantage of heavy cream is it has a very long expiration date and takes less than half and half to get the same creaminess.

I ordinarily  prefer half n half....

but when  a local restaurant  shut down for winter, the owner  gave me  a couple pounds of  espresso roast coffee AND a  half gallon of heavy whipping cream,   it was some DAMN good coffee around  the shop for  the few weeks it took to go through  the cream.... very rich.

I use Hoosier Hill Farms Heavy Cream powder in my Community Dark Roast coffee.

It makes a rich cup of café au lait.

Yes and it's not heavy whipping cream.

50% whole milk and light cream.

The Brits call it half cream.

And yes, half and half has a longer shelf life, relative to milk, to the other guy.

Butter? Never heard of that.

How do you prepare the coffee?

Good coffee I want black. If it's bad coffee pass the sugar and cream.

I started using it years ago.

From time to time I try newfangled stuff, but nothing I have tried compares to heavy cream.

I had coffee over the summer with cheese in it. My aunt and uncle live near Harbor Springs, close to the Mackinac bridge, and apparently this is a big thing in the U.P. I was not a fan, neither was my aunt.

Earlier in the holiday season I thought I'd give eggnog in my coffee a try.  As a substitute for sugar/cream.

Mistake...big mistake.
