Must have seen a least 6 different Click it or ticket scams, uh, I mean enforcement zones today. Even had one cop hiding behind a telephone pole and peeking around the side of it. $65.00 money grab IMHO and It still frosts me that the arseholes who SWORE it would NEVER EVER be a primary offense if it passed went full retard the second it did. [and that includes the chiefs and sheriff politico's] Seat belts, good idea yes, govt money grab, damn betcha.

Secondary here. Never ever heard of anyone being pulled over for a seatbelt violation. In fact, I don't think I even know anyone who's ever gotten one.
I think it's stupid. I can ride my motorcycle around wearing nothing but a pair of sunglasses, a pair of shorts, and some flip flops. Totally legal. Get in my 5000lb SUV, and goddamnit, I better have my seatbelt on... |
