My Wife has always complained that I waste paper, and  use too much tape.  So this year she got some gift bags for me to use.  She thinks this is great now she can recycle the gift bags.  I decided to do some recycling of my own.  I ordered some Greek ammo from CMP it came in a nice wooden crate.  I put her Kindle in it screwed everything tight.  Now for the Fun tomorrow morning when she has to figure how to open it with out my help..    I may not survive the process though.  No Pics we are still discussing the pose.

I HATE wrapping, I might as well be handling dog drooled on, grease drenched ice with hands coated in crisco. My wrapping looks like a two year old did it blindfolded and with mittens duct taped to her hands using "kid safe" scissors and tissue paper with numerous small rips already installed to thwart a clean cut.

I don't even have to put my name on them as to whom they are from.

I like your idea.

Stencil "Fragile" on it

Hid all the screwdrivers yet?

ETA:  I do the tootsie roll wrap –––– tissue paper, rolled around the gift, both ends cinched with ribbon

I used duct tape one year when I could not find any scotch tape.  I also used pvc pipe and glue.   Told her no hack saw, and gave her a hammer.  I was surprised how comfortable I could make the dog house that year.  I plan on putting her name on one of the labels then using a Highliter so she sees it.

Sounds like we wrap the same way. I helped a scout fundraiser one year by gift wrapping presents outside a retail store. Others did beautiful jobs. I just told folks to use my services if they wanted their presents to look like they did it themselves in the middle of the night.

Nice, OP!

I too suck at wrapping. I usually get the stores to do gift wrapping so I don't have to.

For the record: If you purchase multiple items from the same amazon seller and select "Gift wrap this item" at checkout, they'll wrap all of the items in tissue paper and put them in a blue box

I facepalmed when I saw it.

But back to the original subject - who ares if you use "too much" paper? I bought several rolls today that were 50% off, and even at full price they're about $4 each. I wrapped 11 gifts tonight and had plenty of paper left over in those two rolls. They look like a drunken ruhtard wrapped them. Well, one out of the two.
