I went looking for the cheapest watch with these specs: mechanical movt, sapphire, screw down crown, dive bezel, white dial. Typically the cheapest mechanical watch for any given spec will be an Islander, but the winner was the Ratio Freediver, which I'd never heard of. They are out of Singapore. All the specs w/ 200m water resistance, solid end links, and an engraved crown. I wish all the hands had black outlines instead of a red minute hand and silver hour/sec, which are hard to spot in some lighting. For $110 delivered I'm happy.  |
