I just made 2 stands using these instructions and they turned out great.  These are very "car friendly" as well.

Cost was about $12 per stand.  I left out the golf tees.

I usually just get neighborhood kids to hold mine, but it takes them a while to stop flinching

Looks great, but...a few GA guys make stands like that. I couple stray hits on the PVC and TIMBERRRRRR! I make mine with wood and they last a little longer.

Nice design, really!

I probably won't use these for sighting in and I'm definitely not going to be rapid firing at them, so I should be fine.

If nothing else, all I have to do is cut a new piece to repair whatever was broken, and I'm good to go.  I didn't use any glue for just that reason.

Tag - I made a sturdy wooden one in 20 minutes last weekend for $8.00 in materials, I'll post pics tomorrow after work.
