I've been thinking about a few things here lately.  My eating habits aren't that great.  Smoking is not a great habit either.  I'm not fat.  I'm 6'4" and 190 lbs.  However, there is always room for improvement.  I stay pretty active, gym two or three times a week and I swim just about every other day.

Here are my goals.

High protein low carb diet.  No fast food.  No more cokes, or sweet tea which is my favorite.  Just water from now on.  Stop smoking.

Since I know that I will go crazy not being able to enjoy some of the foods I currently eat, I will have a cheat day once a week.  On the cheat day I will allow myself to enjoy a meal of my choice.  Whatever I want.

I've decided to do this because I just don't want to allow myself to ever get fat/unhealthy.  I'm 25 and want to stay in the best shape possible.

Wish me luck!

That is great you are taking charge of your life.

I just a got a clean bill of health from my doc.

Excercise, diet and moderation in food is the key to success.

I have to eat my ribs so eat sparingly and don't deny yourself.  Treat yourself but don' binge.

Quitting smoking is easy once you stop fighting it.

I smoked for 17 years and quit cold turkey.

First you have to really want to quit. I quit after 26 years. I used chantix and it worked really well for me.

You're 6 4' at 190, go to the gym on a fairly regular basis and swim almost every other day. I think in shape wise you're doing fine.

Be more mindful of what you eat (that's not rocket science) and of course your biggest hurdle is to stop smoking.

Other than that?
