While either are totally acceptable, I use gray.

I've seen where both are acceptable and depend on the country they are used in. "Gray" is predominant in America, "Grey" in England.

Here ya go:  Gray or Grey?

In the USA or civilized world; it's "GRAY."

In second world countries like Great Britain; it's "GREY."
Of course, they spell "armor" like armour
                             "honor" like honour
                             "color"  like colour

and so on.

It's GRAY.

That sounds pretty accurate.  However I like grey better than gray myself.

Then again I also use "theatre" instead of "theater".  I don't know why... I just do.
