One of my boyfriends cats had urinated all over an old couch of his. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the smell out of the fabric, the boyfriend wants to try and salvage the fabric.

I'd look online at pet sites for products specifically made for removing urine stains and smell, I know they have them.

I've tried many many products, and in my experience, you have to get rid of the couch.  The cat can still smell the urine even if you can't, and will continue to urinate on it.

Has the cat in question been 'fixed'? If not, it needs to be done ASAP.

Go down to Petsmart of Petco and pick up a large bottle of Nature's Miracle cleaner. This stuff works extremely well. Soak the crap out of the affected area on the couch.
