Since there are a lot of Tech-minded people here. . .

I'm looking for an in dash head unit that will allow me to play Audio DVDs. Specifically, I wnat to burn AIFF (not MP3) files to a dvd so I can get a lot more songs on one disk. This would be awesome for road trips.

I don't like the sound quality of MP3 cds so I want to keep the file format the same as on the original cd.

So, let me get this straight – you're concerned about the difference in sound between an MP3 file and an "ordinary" CD while listening to them [i]in a moving vehicle[/i]?

Not really, the stereo in my moving vehicle is better than most in a nice quiet house. :-)

I don't go for the BOOM systems. I guess I'm too old for that. Just a nice crystal clear system that will make the hair on your arms move when you crank it up while still remaining perfectly clean.

2 ESX Q1204 Amps 4 x 125w each
Diamond Audio Hex 3-way component system in front
Diamond Audio Hex 2-way component system in rear
JL Audio Stealthbox with one 12w3 subwoofer
