I listen to podcasts of varying subjects while working and while at home on the tractor. Many of these podcasts have British, Australian, or German accented podcasters. One of them (photography business show) is run by two Canadians. I have no problem with their accent, but their dialect consisting of "eh, aboot, etc" drive me up the fucking wall! It's akin to listening to someone with a lisp or the over-use of "Like" Other than that it's a great show.
Y'all have any pet peeves while listening to folks speak? It's a dumb pet peeve of mine but I figure if folks on here can bitch about fatties, I can bitch about "aboots". |
