I am getting several scam calls on my mobile phone (Android) every day. Unfortunately its my business phone so changing the # is a paib with clients, and I can't just ignore all calls from numbers I dont recognize. I also know that picking up just gets you added to scammers lists.
I am trying out Call Blocker by Android Rocker. It seems to be working at blocking the right calls, but I worry about losing business calls. Does anyone recommend a better app for call filtering/blocking? Are there any where you can select playing the "the number you are calling has beeb disconnected" message and tone? Otherwise I am back to futilely wishing there was a way to set scam callers on fire. "Hello this is X calling to rip you off. aaaaagh!!! im burning!" Thanks. |

"Mr Number" app is great. And free. Real time updates from users. If 10-20 users report a number as spam, the number is blocked for all Mr Number users. It rolls them straight to voicemail. I get 2-3 spam calls blocked per day, and voicemails from 2-3 spammers per month. |
