The following is a letter to the editor of a local socialist rag, The North Bay Bohemian, located in Sonoma County, PRK. It was forwarded to me by a friend who has the misfortune of living, as he's fond of saying, "amongst the whine swine." Rebuttals, comments or suggestions, should anyone feel so inclined, should be directed to . (It's doubtful that they'll print any of them, but nonetheless, we should probably be polite and civil.) cynic ----------------------------- The North Bay Bohemian 11.14.02 Letters California Pride I admit that after Tuesday's tragic election results, I was muttering that I'm ashamed to be an American. But more profoundly, I loudly declare that I'm proud to be a Californian, as every state election was won by a Democrat, or more accurately, lost by a Republican. While the Democrats are seemingly working to make themselves irrelevant, the Republicans are working to make themselves feared and repulsed. California helps set the domestic agenda, but should we feel like a rogue state for GWB administration's suing us for clean-air laws that its corporate-controlled [In]Justice Department deems too restrictive? As GWB ponders an unprovoked attack on Iraq, I sadly have to agree with anyone who argues that an unprovoked attack on this country is justified, since we are more of a threat to world stability based on our contributing 25 percent of global-warming toxicities, ignoring the Kyoto Protocol, and then giving the finger to the world by electing a federal government that now has the power to advance its global-warming agenda. Ugh. Stand tall my California brothers and sisters and work harder to have the rest of the country see the light while we still can! Jay Lustgarten San Anselmo -------------------------------- |
| This is so ridiculous and the guy is so stupid I can't even get mad when I read this. We just have to understand that there are stupid people in this country. Obviously there are more stupid people in Kalifornia, but that is because Kalifornia is the nations most populous state. I feel bad that the many good people that live in the PRK have to share the air they breath no matter how polluted it is with a dirt bag like this. |

That's no worse than the swill coming out of my local rag, the Contra Costa Times. A good 80% of the letter writers are whining, crying, whimpering liberal children. "Whine, whine, whine, cry, cry, cry" is their mantra. And the paper itself is being criticized for editorializing under the guise of "news." Of course, now that the election is over, they are back to normal. In fact, about a year ago they started accepting letters to the editor from Berkeley residents, even though the paper is located in a different county, 20 miles away. It seems that were coming up short on letters touting the liberal cause, so they had to look elsewhere to find people who support their agenda. However, it is my belief the paper really does print a fair and balanced selection of letters, representative of what they receive from their readers. That just goes to show how fucked up the Bay Area is. |

Quoted: "Orinda Soccer Mom Against War" http://www.bayarea.com/mld/cctimes/news/local/4541818.htm [rolleyes] LMFAO, this "mom" would let her daughter dress up as Satan, but not as an Army girl. Good set of priorities. Plus she doesn't want to promote "a war nobody understands." Um, this is a guy constantly threatening us and would love nothing more than to cause us harm. I actually was against the first war cause who cares what arab tyrant we pay for oil, none of them are our friends, but now we have an enemy that must be gotten rid of before he does it to us. Not that hard to understand. |
