@wolfyjflywheel and V are salt of the Earth. Y'all really are the best. I received a ton of complements about the property, vibe, and of course the party barn. You are generous for inviting us into your home and allowing us to vomit on your sand and give turtles a sense of afterlife. electrojk is the best host. I know you really cared about this event and wanted it to go well. You invested a lot of time and effort into making it a success. Sprinkles of help from the rest of the staff really do not do justice the work you put into CWTXIV. Great job. Staff kicked ass and worked as a team to keep things flowing smoothly. It was a busy event and everyone chipped in. It was awesome seeing y'all. Shout out to all the new runners. And geriatric runners. Autistics, too Damn can we talk about the food? Let's get some pig photos up in here! Chida, surprise guest buckshot Jim, HDLS, JoJo and of course Wolfy provided Texas worthy meals all weekend. It was a pleasure being staff. Had fun. I sold out of the NV game a couple years ago to start my biz and while it sucked being nodless, I am a wizard once again thanks to CWTX. Austin is a beast and continues to improve. Great runs everyone; I hope we all learned how we can improve as individuals and as members of this great community through the efforts of guys like him, MustangDuck, HDLS (et al) that just push themselves into better competitors relentlessly. I don't know how to image so somebody unfuck this up. This is me and @USMCAG grabbing his target off the range after he boldly announced "I won" before winning the raffle. I think he would've had a clean run if he had actually hit this target, so now he can practice. He gave me a fantastic lapdance while missing this target and during dinner on friday he farted on me, so fuck that guy. Big thanks to everyone for showing up and for CLEANING up before leaving and to all of the not actual staff for helping out with random tasks when asked to, This was a great event and I look forward to seeing most of you next year. Math is hard and I did it a few times and came up with a total of $1,876 that got put into the raffle. Then I got another $20 from Nathan's dad since he can't read and paypal'd the wrong person but he fixed it. Then one of the staff said fuck it and evened it out to a smooth $2k. Thank you to everyone who pitched in on it, I had so much fun bullying y'all into giving money to a good cause. For those of you that just obeyed my bullying without asking why: @notsotacticaltrucker has a gofundme going to help get a wheelchair accessible van for his daughter. Big thanks to wolfy, his wife, buckshot, lou, electro & all the staff for putting on a great event! Very generous sponsors as well as usual. Congrats to binary & duck on their wins. I nabbed my 3rd high woman but I'm pretty disappointed in my run. I got an ak penalty and should have definitely cleared more of the range. My guns are actually zeroed and had no failures so it was clearly a skill issue. I did get 4 obstacles though, which is great because usually I get 4 obstacle penalties. Chug was the same as usual. So nice to see old homies and new homies and pet dogs and feed cows!! Hopefully see yall next year! |

Huge shoutout to the hosts and staff. Y'all are amazing! It was my first CW, so I don't have anything to compare it to. But I know a well run event when I see one. The heckling aged like a fine wine over the course of a couple days. "MISS!" "MISS!" Just remember, kids, that every choice in your life brought you to this point of puking in front of a bunch of internet frens. And thank you to all the sponsors for encouraging our misery!

First CW event I’ve been exposed to. I have to hand it to ElectroJK (Joe) for putting this all together. It’s was a huge task sir and you pulled it off. I may be inspired to make the run next time vs just hide behind the chef hat and cook. Thanks to the rest of the staff of CW or all their work. Big thank you to WolfJ and his sweet wife for letting me come help with the food, donating the use of their land, the hospitality, and most of all being my friends. Y’all are family to me. Also, I had a camera secretly recording every recipe Jim??. Thanks to Jojo (spelling?) for giving me professional overwatch on the griddle. Now I have a good friend and cooking buddy. Hate I had to miss this. Work changed schedules (spoke with electrcjk about this in advance) and then they sprung reorg on us, then I found out Friday night a friend of mine passed away and the funeral was on Saturday.  Looks like a great time though and I hope to make it next year. Please keep me posted. |
