I have two CD/DVD drives/burners in my desktop computer, and neither are working now. When I go to "My Computer" and right click on either of the CD/DVD drives and select "Open", I get the following warning:

D: (or F:) is not accessible. Incorrect function.

I'm using Windows XP.

I'm trying to save a bunch of files from my hard drive on a disc to transfer to my wife's new laptop, and I can't even copy a single stinking file.

Any help is appreciated.

I tried the following link, and it told me that neither disc drive is capable of writing, which is incorrect. Both are R/W drives, and I have burned CD's with both in the past.
