I have a guy who wants to trade me a new Bushmaster ACR Enhanced with a Eotech holographic red dot sight. Never been shot. He wants $2400. Is it worth it?

Shit, I would have probably bought one. But they went full retard on pricing. What sucks is that all the other cool guns that came out or are coming out (Tavor, ARX-100, etc) have MSRPs around $2k. The whole "me too!" pricing level. I was going to hold out and try an ARX-100, but with the MSRP of $1950, while they may sell under that... I can just build a decent AR for quite a bit less. In fact, that's what I did. |

In fact, that's what I did. POF just came out with a pretty good looking MP5 9mm knockoff for $1600. Wouldn't mind picking up a used one down the road.
