I voted for the fellow x 2. I have no real problems with him as a president. But, what has he done? +1 for adversity. This is evident no matter what side of the fence you ride, with Katrina and the Trade Center episode. So, what's the deal? What am I missing here? I, frankly, think he has done a less than admirable job... but I do not follow the news very astutely these days. I see a weak stance on immigration. I see a weak stance on his 2nd Amend. I see multiple knee-jerks posing as homeland security I see a brave new world of craziness - NSA spying on this soil. - who'da thunk it. I mean really. Remind me why I vote a republican ticket. I really have to wonder now. |
|
He's a nightmare as a President. As a former Liberal, I honestly believe that Kerry would have done a better job at just about everything. I know that doesn't go over well at arfcom but whatever. Next round I'm voting Constitution party. Whatever they put up is better than the two-headed Rich Asshole party puts up. |
Sounds like you missed your last round of meds.
|
![]() You're just a kool-aid drinking, dick-sucking, fag-loving Liberal. |
no, just someone who votes for a person who voted against freedom, then voted for it, then couldnt make up his mind, and now just complains like you do. <--registered libertarian, so kiss my quasi anachistic ass |
My man. I'm right next to you. Except I'm going with the Constitution Party next election. |
|
Other than the border issue & illegal immigartion, i think he's done a pretty damn good job considering all the crap he's gone through (Internet Bubble leading to market crash, Multiple corporate scandals leading to massive job layoffs, 9/11, Two major hurricanes.) |
|
jeezus. Klinton couldn't spell "border", let alone protect it. Thank you Dear Jesus for not letting that moron, Kerry, get elected. It proves that God is on His throne and all is well. Economy? Check. Fighting over there, not here? Check. Border? Something is finally happening, no thanks to the libs. Check. Al Quaida? Pretty beat up, thanks to our incredible All-volunteer military. Check. Conservative appointed Supreme Court judges? Double Check. Bush's Justice Dept overturns Klinton and declares the 2nd is an individual right? Check. We don't have to look at Janet Reno's horse face any more? Check. We finally know what the meaning of the word "is is? Check. Lookin pretty good from here. |
What, do they give lip service to the crazy pet theory that is your namesake? |
I'm not sure Bush Jr. is doing a better job by inviting them...perhaps I'm missing something here as well - But in this circumstance, I would call Clinton a hardliner compared to the current administration. This subject, really, is a sore point for me. Construes a complete disregard for America. |
|
If Kerry was president, we would have already replaced the Stars & Bars with the UN flag and we would have publicly apologized to Al Quida, France, etc...for being so American. Kerry as president...choke yourself! If you are unhappy with Bush then just don't vote for him again or just shave it off :) |
This is true. But the old divide and conquer is still at work. If the dems take away 70% and the repubs take away 30%, we still wont have anything left. |
|
The election is months away. By then, as is the nature of election year politics, our tax cut will be made permanant. More conservative judges will be sitting on the bench. The border/immagration issue will be defused. The economy will continue to grow. The stock mkt will achieve new record highs. Bush will maintain his popularity with the people of this country. You'll never hear about it because the old school LIBERAL/SOCIALIST media can't get past their hatred. Bush is in a similar situation in that regard as Nixon & Reagan. Beyond ALL of that, for the Republicans to lose majority in the house & senate a huge event has to occur: The Democrazies have to define something they are FOR. Their continued negative approach with NO IDEAS won't get them anywhere. |
| I'm getting tired of this phone tapping NSA thing. Everyone's been all up in a bunch about the NSA spying on US soil.....uh hello! They're the NSA, not the CIA that's what they're *supposed* to do. They've been doing this since the 50s, congress knew about it, congress aproved of it. They're only bitching about it now because they want to use it to make Bush look bad. |
we could have a republican majority and still have a liberal congress(see McCain for a shining example) we need real conservatives that make Goldwater look like a flaming lib |
Yep... |
2 thumbs up |
Bush's policies are exactly what he ran on. Compasionate Conservative means I spend money like liberals but I try not to take as much of your money to do it.There seems to be a sudden increase with the Bush bashing here lately. Most be popular to do so these days. |
Why are there so many chicken littles around? |
Wait a minute here. The stock market began to crash during the last year of the Clinton presidency. Look at the charts! Also, corporate scandals began during Clinton as did planning for 9/11. Don't be sucked into the Bush bashing and negativity created by the liberal media. |

Bush isn't perfect, no. Particularly on immigration and his inexplicable subservience to the Mexican government. He crassly pandered to the steel unions in Ohio and PA by backing tariffs and quotas, in order to secure their votes for re-election, but that was temporary and it seemed to have worked, he got re-elected. There's a pointless trade war with Canada over lumber quotas too, and his policy towards the evil Palestinians remains irritatingly status quo and middle of the road. He made a huge blunder with nominating Harriet Miers, but he came to his senses about that. Other than that? He's great. Where has he gone wrong on the RKBA? He doesn't write the laws, he only signs them in. |
Things go it trends--trends mainly created by the leftist media. Right now they are have created and are trying to strengthen an anti-Bush trend (before the '06 elections, of course; surprise...surprise). Yes, there is no doubt that Bush could do better on all these things. However, I'd suggest that you look at the Administration's actual stances and efforts in all these areas and stop getting your info from the mainstream news. I for one will continue to support Bush...at the same time I give voice to things I think he can improve upon, little useful suggestion |
| It's like Jesse Ventura said, isn't American democracy great? We have one more choice than communist china. Bush and Kerry both suck. I go to the store and there's 98 different cereals to choose from but I go to VOTE and it has to be the lesser of two evils everytime?? |
You mean the Christian theocracy party? |
kind of odd how the flaming lib claims to be part of something that goes against his beliefs huh? maybe he'll vote for the constitution party before he votes against them |
Well, lets see ... anthrax, snipers, probably more incidents that were labeled "not terrorism". But you're right, nothing the scale of 9-11 has happened. Do you think that's because of government actions, or because the people who would do it just haven't done anything yet? |
Care to put a couple of grand on that? They will lose neither, The Republicans are blessed with morons for enemies. |
![]() Lets face it, if you loose to people like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reed, Ted Kennedy, and Chucky Schumer well then you have done something really, really wrong. |
