Fail for not having Keller's in there and being a resident of Dallas I had to leave something for the locals to post.
By the way, those are not my top three burgers...just three pictures of my most recent burger adventures. (However, I would include that Lee Harvey's burger in my top three. It was great!) |

I cut the burger in half. The first half took me just under 6 minutes. The second half took me almost an hour. I did not feel well for the next 3 days. |

Actually sounds damn good |

Still mooing. Check. Meat thicker than the bun. Check. Yup, it's a good burger. With that formula add six slices of thick cut bacon with grated Asiago cheese melted on top and a nice fat slice of red onion on top of that. I've been known to add mayo, but really it doesn't need it to be delicious. |

It was sort of a celebratory meal, because we had just wrapped up the complicated sale and closing of TWO houses (mine in St. Louis and hers in Nashville), and had just finished packing up her house, and then driven to St. Louis to pack up mine - and so this was the "final" meal before heading to our new place in D.C. And, since there's no White Castle in the D.C. area, we figured we have a last meal that was memorable. |

Well done sir ~golf clap~ That's exactly what we were going for. Best I've ever managed is some steaks and a 40 of Malt Liqour. I think I like yours better |

Hole in the Wall is pretty good. |

If you guys are ever in SoCal, be sure to stop by one of these places and grab a burger or other stuff on the menus. You won't regret it!

Bologna sandwich on white bread served with a single malt scotch mountain dew highball. Loose meat sandwich served with a chilled Lafite Rothschild.

It is so wonderful! |

Hole in the Wall is pretty good. I think there are two overall categories of burgers: Thin patties and thick patties. In the "thin" category, Keller's is definitely in the conversation for best. I personally like Jake's a little better, though. ETA: spelling |
