It's an intriguing show - although I don't know why I like it. I can't NOT watch it, kind of like Kerri Byron on Mythbusters.

Bryan Cranston looks JUST like my father, who died of lung cancer, and the more the chemo takes this guy down, the more he looks like Pop.

It's a great show.

And DAMN, I miss my Pops.

I loved that show when I had cable! I guess I'll be huluing it, or torrenting... whichever is available sooner.

I watched the entire first season for the first time last night.  It's easily one of the best shows on TV.

[#8]
builttoughf250, I've been wondering when  you were going to make a "Breaking Bad" thread.

Getting ready to watch the first episode of the 2nd season.  Just 7 minutes away.

Gotta agree, it's the best fictional show on TV. Hell, it's the only fictional show that I watch...

at the end of the show my friend says "damnit, nothing big happened"

i thought alot went on during it. anyways, that leaves ALOT to be done next week!

cant wait!!

Uh oh, Tuco is angry. This show rivals the Sopranos IMO
3/9/2009 2:55:41 PM EDT
[#11]
Damn, didn't expect the Tuco/Walter partnership to crash so soon.

Still wondering what the foreshadowing in the opening scene was about. (the half-burned stuffed animal in the pool, with the sirens in the background)

I hope that isn't Walter's pool!
3/9/2009 4:48:14 PM EDT
[#12]
in the previews for next week Tuco says something like "what did you do to my deal"

im wondering if he said my DEALER

maybe Tuco thinks Jesse and Walter offed the fat Mexican that was killed in the junk yard when the car fell on him?

as for the burning shit in the pool, makes me wonder if Walt used the mercury like he did in Tuco's apartment, but part of me thinks the writers wouldnt use the same trick twice.

oh, i forgot to mention. we shouldnt watch a show like this, according to team member HUGHJAFJ

TOOL

because meth is icky, ok ?

Wow, hughjafj is high strung!

BTW, I like how Walter gives Jesse occasional (and true) history lessons...I saw a documentary many years ago that went over the KGB assassination of the Bulgarian journalist.

Just re-watched the scenes for next week's episode (I taped it on old school VHS) and Tuco says "What did you do to my deal?!"

i wonder what he means by that, what did you do to my deal-

not like the guys have done anything to corrupt Tuco's supply or sales...

Okay, I watched Episodes 2 and 3... (don't worry, I won't reveal spoilers) but I must say they were great!  This season should be even better than the first.

The only bad part is now I'll have to wait nearly 3 weeks for a new show.

i thought last night was a great episode. sure, no big action or anything wild, but a great plan by both to throw the cops off their trail.

i gotta say, the performances by everyone in this show is very convincing.

dammit I missed this again. I hate working night shift. It's been off so long I'm not in the grove of taping it. Now I need to find the next repeat airing. At least AMC is good for that.

Pretty decent episode.

I'm starting to wonder about Hank and why he isn't putting it all together in his head.

He's watching the chemical lab video again, very closley!

He's smelling the inside of Walter's vehicle.

He knows that Walter is an "overqualified" high school chemistry teacher.

He knows that Walter has a 2nd cell phone.

He knows that Walter has been associating with a known drug dealer (Jesse)

Does the Hank character already know Walter's secret and just trying to figure out what to do now?

He's smelling the inside of Walter's vehicle.   this was when he thought walter was smoking pot

He knows that Walter is an "overqualified" high school chemistry teacher.  he seems to be naive towards walter and in denial Walter could do anything illegal

He knows that Walter has a 2nd cell phone.  hank comments only drug dealers need 2 phones, but again, denial

He knows that Walter has been associating with a known drug dealer (Jesse)  maybe Hank thinks Walter is  just trying to mentor jesse to better himself.... ?

Does the Hank character already know Walter's secret and just trying to figure out what to do now?
walter can turn in hanks wife for the tiara she boosted from the jewelry store but he didnt...    for all we know Hank might be taking payoffs / bribes from other dealers...

Even though Hank has a pretty good beer belly going, I'm starting to think he is pretty much a BadAss

Dammit, I missed last weeks episode. I hate working night shift. I didn't even realize this until watching last nights episode when they showed previously on Breaking Bad. What else happened on the episode where jesse drove the RV through the fence, and Skylar smoked? Is there anywhere online to view full episodes? I checked AMC and Hulu with no luck.

ok, i cant remember if it was last week or the week before, the episode started out with Walt butt-assed naked in a convenience store. he had to come up with an Alibi for why he was missing when Tuco took him and Jesse. he was playing crazy. spent a few days in the hospital.

jesse had to steal his own RV back, the tow truck guy fixed it up, found all the meth cooking shit in it. and jesse owed him money for the tows / repairs / and hush money for the meth crap.  it was a pretty funny episode dealing with the RV... and the porta-potty
4/12/2009 7:25:10 PM EDT
[#40]
ok... in the last episode, Walt throws a button in the trash can that said "hope" on it

this episode Walt comments about the economy and Freddy Mac...

i think the shows writers and anti- obama

Been keeping up with the shows, but haven't been commenting in this thread lately. I'll catch back up.

Last week's episode was pretty good.

Another lucky break for Jesse...now everyone will think he whacked the old junkie that ripped him off two episodes ago.

Walter is getting more ruthless...telling Jesse to "Handle it."

I re-watched the first season last week while I had some time off from work, and I'll agree that Hank is pretty naive when it comes to Walter. He even refused to think that Walter would steal his chemistry lab equipment from the school, blaming it on Hugo, the nice janitor, instead.

Has everyone watched the "minisodes" on the amctv.com website? ?

Downloaded last night's episode from iTunes. Pretty fucking good again.

"What? You never seen a tortoise with a human head riding on its back?"

I wonder what's going to happen with Hank now...

He's already suffering from PTSD. This isn't going to help that.

That explosion stunned me last night.

Agreed, Hank is in bad shape, now.

Walter is really getting bold, eager to bring even more outsiders to the business.

Skyler looked very sexy when she went in for the job application.

Looks like Jesse has a cute GF, now. The ladies are always attraced to the "bad boys," but Jesse really isn't tough at all.

torrent maybe?

i have to say, the last few episodes have been a bit slower / quieter, i think theres alot of build up going on...

I just found out about this show and watched season 1 on DVD. I'm too far behind on season 2 to just jump right in. Anyone know when AMC might run a season 2 marathon?

The show itself may be as addictive as the meth they are making!
