| Anyone deal with Botach Tactical? I placed a order yesterday with them for some Magpul stuff because they have a 20% off coupon code. Well today I got a email saying that 2 of the 3 items I ordered are on backorder with no ETA. Wondering if I should cancel or just wait it out. |

I have bought from Botach many times, never had any issues when items in stock.
A couple times things were not in stock and I waited, or cancelled, have never been done wrong by them and will order again with confidence. Not everyone has the same luck with them as me, can't explain that, will not attempt to. Nobody is perfect... |

what ever happened to the nephew of the owner of botach that was arrested for selling communist ammo from the '50's to the US army to supply the iraqi troops?
If I remember he was like 19 yrs old , but they couldnt connect it to his father or uncle as to how he won the contract from the army in the first place. |

My personel experience is I have always gotten the stuff I paid for.
The details are. One order I made, 9 of 10 items came. The 10th item took 8 more months. Another order I made was for PMAGS with 20% off sale. I ordered and they said the were back ordered. About 1 year and change later I noticed an unknown charge on my credit card, and about a week later I got a package in the mail, it was the PMAGS, I had completely forgot about ordering them. I will not ever order from them again, so I can not recommend to anyone to use them. As far as checking with them if an item is in stock, there online chat feature can not tell you if anything is in stock apparently they are only available to answer questions about products or something, maybe you will have better luck calling them?,if you can read thru this email and still even consider to use these dill holes |
| I've had a few orders through them and never had any issues. That said, I always contact them first to confirm if what I want to order is in stock. They don't have an active inventory system on their website so not everything they show is in stock. Botach gets bashed here worse than President Obama, even though places like SWFA and Optics Planet are favorites and they have the same inventory issues. |

| Very typical. I've placed numerous orders with them and never had a problem. The times I had placed orders and some of the items were backordered, my credit card was only charged for the items shipped. I did call them to cancel a few items that were backordered with no problems. |
| These guys get bashed here pretty regularly. I recently ordered 3 M&P-9 mags which are a little hard to find especially at good prices. I received my 3 mags in just a few days at a great price new in box. I have never had a bad experience personally and have ordered several times in the past. |

I got in on the Micro T-1 / Magnifier combo last summer and it shipped the same day.
I order batteries from them regularly. I usually get an email the next day saying the item is backordered, but it always ships after another day or two. Results seem pretty mixed, but try ordering one item at a time (free shipping on virtually everything anyway). I haven't had any bad experiences with them and their CS via email has been pretty good. |
| I have been pleased with botach up until my last order. My wife bought me a GoPro from them on Dec 11 (my only Christmas present). Until last week, every time I would check the staus of the order, I was told 1-2 weeks. Finally, last week they told me to order it somewhere else. from now on, I'm not down with the backorder list at botach. In stock? Fine. Backorder? Forget it. |

I buy magazines from them fairly often, due to great sales (discounts). This subject concerning backorders and slow processing comes up often in other forums also. The easiest thing to do, is call them at their number, ask them if they are in stock, ready to ship, and order that way. Works for me.

I have made over 20 orders from this firm. I rate them as good as highly as any vendor I have dealt with from this forum (+1) Yesterday, I ordered 3 Kelty products yesterday at a great price 65% off. I placed the order, asking if they were in stock, they said yes. I got an email confirmation after the buy. They called today (from CA to FL) to confirm the freight I wanted and I got an air bill emailed to me about 3 hours later, too. The products will arrive on Monday via UPS. My experience couldn't be any better and I am a nobody to them (in all reality). My concern is that if there is no firm release date for a product that I wanted, then I would have to pass, as Botach Tactical supplies bigger firms than me [alone]. Instant gratification, when one is seeking a great deal for a brand name product isn't always possible. For example: When I orderd my OBR from LaRue, I didn't get a release date, but I purchased the OBR just the same; paid in full in advance. I got it when it was done being built. About 12 months ago, I had to wait a few months from Botach for an Aimpoint T-1 with an OEM mount and 16 windowed P-Mags, but the troops were being supplied these RDSs at that same time; I'd rather wait, given those circumstances. I paid about $150.00 less than anywhere else for the T-1 and got about $425.00 worth of MAGPUL's finest at that price, too I find Botach to be honest, trustworthy and my packages always arrive in great shape. Some people need to learn how to conduct business like adults, it seems. |

I have ordered from them a half dozen times. Never had any issues. CS rep called me once to confirm payment when I used a AmEx gift card someone gave me. Prices are usually as good or better than you will get anywhere else. Always been satisfied with my purchases.

| I ordered some TruGlo TFO's from them about 6 weeks ago. Didn't call ahead. Backordered email came 3 days later. Backordered 1 week, shipped out at the time the email stated, no problems in transit, had them in about a week and a half. Every other order I've placed with them has been fine. |

I sent him the order number and he sent missing item from the order. I thought man, Botach is turning things around. Then the emails started, he wanted to use my name promoting Botach to the people running AR15.com to get back in the door with them. |
| I called them several times trying to cancel my order but they never answered. I emailed them asking to cancel my order yesterday & they responded back today saying that it was cancelled. So now I have to shop around for some good pricing on Magpul items that are in stock. Thanks fellas for the help!!! |
Sorry to bring this up top again, but I got some Botach awesomeness to share. I ordered an LMT FA bolt carrier group and an LMT tac charging handle on DECEMBER 8TH. Yes it has been on back order this whole time. It is for an SBR that I am waiting on the stamp for so I wasn't really sweating the wait, plus I'm a cheap bastard and wanted free shipping. Anyway I got confirmation the other day that my package was on its way,ok fine. I get it and open it up and behold a carrier  not a complete carrier group but a carrier, no bolt, no pins no charging handle WTF! I called and I don't think they understand that they didn't give me what I paid for. I did get a back order email saying my charging handle was still two weeks out, the same message I got when I ordered way back in December . You can say I learned my lesson and will send back what they gave me and spend my money elsewhere.

| A while back Botach asked an arfcommer for product samples then copied the product and brought their own to market. (no he didn't have a patent because it wasn't cost effective. Even so, that was a shitty thing for them to do.) That on top of the horrendous service I got the one time I ordered from them keeps me from ordering from them again. |
