Where does one go to physically buy gold and silver? Below is a reputable dealer - I've dealt with them several time and have always been satisfied. You can get slightly better deals on Ebay but do so at your own risk. I'd stay away from Ebay though - not worth the trouble. http://www.apmex.com If you decide to purchase some you'll probably have questions. The below link will help. https://www.kitcomm.com/index.php |

What is a six month's supply of food and a water filter going to do for you? What's going to cause food and water to be unavailable? Gosh, by shear coincidence, Chapman's website has a special sale on a year's supply of freeze dried food and a water filter. |

I second the Apmex recommendation.
BTW, what he is saying is happening right now. Gold it heading up from $700 to $980 today. May very well bust the magical $1000 figure in the next week or so. Also, the dollar has fallen more than 10% in the last 3 months. The dollar is heading toward zero. It is our destiny. The only thing that is not known is how long it will take. The reason for all of this is we just had 8 years of that asshole Bush and we have now followed it with someone even a little worse. |

What is a six month's supply of food and a water filter going to do for you? What's going to cause food and water to be unavailable? Ever seen grocery stores empty out when a hurricane is coming? Well, they can empty out in hours. If there is ever an ounce of fear among Americans about the food supply, currency, political stability, social stability, etc., grocery stores across America will be stripped bare in hours. When the recent hurricane hit Galveston, several of the lower states had gas shortages. Once a shortage starts, it breeds fear and it's hard (impossible until fear subsides) to resupply. Reason being, every time a new truck arrives, people would gas up regardless if they had three quarters of a tank or an eight of a tank. Our supply system is based on people being rational and not hoarding. Just look at the recent ammo issue. Hell, people aren't really even frightened yet and ammo is hard to find. Just imagine if there was real fear. Water may be unavailable if we have rolling power outages. Whatever though - it's all fear mongering. Go about your daily lives and don't worry. Food comes from the grocery store and water comes from the faucet - you'll be fine. |

I have prepped long ago except for PMs. I took care of that last fall.
We have a gold/silver brokerage locally that sells at 1.75% above spot and pays a hair below spot. Kitco and Apmex are fine to deal with. Forums abound with info. Gold and silver have really taken off now. Chapman is not alone, check Celente, Schiff, Salbuchi and many others. The info is all linked to the gold and silver sites and forums. I was very surprised that a financial forcaster recommended aquiring guns and ammo or I would not have posted. Try these... http://www.kitco.com/ind/willie/may222009.html http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message313278/pg1 Salbuchi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlDNMB6wYmI |

Here we go again.
If they don't know what a magazine is why would we listen to anything else they say? |

Chapman is an alarmist twit though, (see his earlier claims about the Izzies nuking us and blaming the palis) and "six months of freeze dried food, a water filter and an assault rifle with plenty of clips" is not decent preparedness advice. |
