Does anyone know if black summer season 3 going to happen? I saw a thread in GD weeks back that said season 3 was supposed to be released in June…. Everything I’ve googled has said it hasn’t even begin filming….. but of course my google fu is weak!

No. There's going to be a season 3. It's been filmed. Release is unknown, but may not be until August.

Haven't the Actors and Writters union been on strike for 5 months?  Don't expect anything for s couple of months and maybe a half season at best
