Indeed, Dr. Cosby lifts up comedy to a higher standard. Don't get me wrong, I'm no prude, but the more vulgar comedians practice what I call "foxhole humor" the stuff me and my buddies made up back in the day all the time. Dr. Cosby is an artist. I don't want to date myself but I remember seeing him in the late 60's and 70's in his heyday. This man speaks the truth.....and it's funny as all "git out" whatever that is. |

| I saw him in person as a kid at the state fair with my mom. He was, how do I say this, a little blue-er in person. He did a routine about sex dreams and having to wash his sheets secretly the next day in the river and running into all his friends doing the same thing. It was funny but it was NOT the stuff we expected. But he kept it clean. |
