[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Best Encoding Settings for Ipod Touch

As the subject says, i'm asking about what are some of the formats/specs you guys are using for encoding videos to a Ipod Touch? I am very familiar with handbrake and other programs since i use them for my Western Digital TV.

Shooting for quality instead of size since i have a 64gb model.

I just use the included 'iPhone & iPod Touch' setting. That gets you native resolution for that screen size.

gave that a try and i'm pretty impressed. Just was skeptical about how well a "preset" would work.

The presets work really well. I'm actually using the iPod Hi-Rez preset for streaming to my Roku player.
