How reliable are the Beretta Asian military 9mm-mags?   Have any of you noted any problems?

Thanks...

I've heard that the Asian mags are close to the original mags.  The newer aftermarket mags (forgot the name) are supposed to be junk.

I've got ten or more of the Asian contract magazines that haven't given me any problem ... but then I also have some of the Beretta issued magazines that haven't either.

Good question.  I'd be interested in the answer as I'd like to acquire some myself.

I've used a handful...

Except for failing to hold the slide back on a couple of them, they ran perfectly fine, with no misfeeds or any other problems.

None fell out, all locked into place, etc. I figure replacing the springs with Wolff springs can't be a bad idea, nor can checking to make sure the follower is within spec...but like I said, they fit and functioned just fine.

I've got 6-7 of the asian mags.  All but one worked good in my CX 4 Storm carbine.  The one that didn't work good kept dropping out.  I found out on the The Beretta Forum that this is a problem with the Storm and not the mag.  Fixed the mag release spring and that one mag has stayed in place for over 200 rounds.  I will probably try to buy some more when I get time/$$$$.
