So I'm sitting here drinking some Young's Double Chocolate Stout while watching Heat, and I came up with an idea: A beer float. It would seem that Young's Double Chocolate Stout would work well. Has anyone done this before? If it this is a somewhat original idea, I'll try it sometime this week and post pictures.

Somebody mentioned it before here, Youngs Double Chocolate Stout would be a good candidate for something like that.  Good stuff!!!

I think it is doable with a Chocolate Stout, IMHO it would be no-go with a regular Ale or Lager/Pilsner.

There is a local brewery here in Seattle (Hales) that offers cream stout floats as a dessert.  Here's a link to their dessert menu its at the bottom.   They give them out for free on your birthday too!

Young's Double Chocolate is the one to do it with.

A local restaurant, can't remember which one, makes them with Youngs.
