I've got a bag of 15 bean... I'm not sure I want to do pork.. Anyone got any good recipes that include a healthier red meat? Sorry ARFCOM, flight doc says I've got to cut my cholesterol. No bacon. :(

I don't know for sure, but it sure looks like there are more than 15 beans in that bag, and it looks too dry to be soup.

Kielbasa or ham.

That is some damn good stuff. Be aware though that make a huge pot of soup. Leftovers freeze well.
It's also very explosive.

My mom used to make it because it was dirt cheap and it last a few days. Left overs are great and to me taste better than the original.

Pick up some smoked pork chops at your local butchers. Tastes as good as ham hocks but with tons less fat, just good lean meat (trim what fat there is off, of course).

15 bean turkey soup with chili spices and not a lot of liquid.
