The inverse of the logarithm is the exponent.
N = e^4.247

"ln" or the natural log funtion is undone by "e".
In other words, to find N where you have e^N you take the Natural log. To find N when you have ln N just make this the exponent of e: e^ln N = N.
ETA: Of course I'm late again as usual.
