A few things I've noticed by looking at this map for awhile:
- Almost everyone that is killed in Baltimore is in the drug trade at some level. - Almost everyone has a criminal record. That being said, I have been in some bad parts of the city. If you keep to yourself no one will fuck with you. |

I'm from Montana, but I have lived in some of the worse places you can imagine. I used to be a door to door saleman for about 3 years up and down the West Coast, LA, San Jose, Portland, Oakland, Seattle, and that was before I ever joined the military. Which has taken me to even worse places throughout the world, 3rd world shitholes, warzones, eastern bloc countries that are struggling with nothing. It's given me a greater appreciation of where I came from, and it has given me survival instincts, and street smarts that few of the people where I come from, can even dream about. I feel comfortable in the worse cities in America in the middle of the night to the wee hours of the morning, I have slept (not because I didn't have money) in train stations, and wandered through the ghettos of LA. I'll tell you one thing, Ghetto Hood Rats...don't step to a 6'2" 210+lb, red-headed white boy strolling through South Central like he owns the place. Especially when he is dressed in a white collared short sleeved shirt and tie...carrying a briefcase and wearing glasses. Dat be fo damn'd sho...

We were all meeting up to go shooting out and Hwy. 95 just out side of Las Vegas. Those dudes literally, about fell over each other when I busted out some of my shit for them to shoot... They were flabbergasted, all their fears of "Crazy White Boy with a Gun" were right there in front of them, and it was real. |

My daughter was looking at attending Johns Hopkins for her undergraduate degree. We liked the school, but penetrating the hood to get to it was a little much. The other thing is they were proud of the fact that they had a security post that could see the entrance to every dorm on campus.
She opted to attend a university where they did not see a need to have armed guards for the entrances to the dorms. |

My grandparents lived in the city when it was nice, but they got out in the late 80's. I work here every day, and I hate this place. Most of the people have no respect for property or other people, the trash is terrible and the city's idea of snow removal is spring thaw. It will only get better when the denizens get sick and tired of it or it stops being a majority black city. This will never happen, so the city will continue to be a disgusting piece of shit. |
