Well the wife and I are going to start trying to have a baby. She is looking at diaper bags, and I thought I would check to see if someone could reccomend a bag that will serve as a good diaper bag but when the kid grows up I could use it as a BOB

thanks in advance

Babys R' us is your friend.  Don't forget to get a "Baby on Board" signs for your car.  Now put on some Barry White, light some incense and have some fun!

When my brother dropped off his kid so we could keep him for 7 months, he had a Spec Ops T.H.E. Pack in ACU as a diaper bag. Brother and wife are both current Army. My wife quickly changed it out to some cheaply made Eddie Bower BS.

How bout a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack?

ETA just found thiswww.tacticaldaddy.com

Maxpedition Pygmy Falcon. Actually I don't know how much crap you need to tote around for the kid. Might look in to the standard Falcon too if you need more room. I had heard of guys looking at the Maxpedition Versipacks, but most of the current dads said they weren't big enough.

I just ordered a Maxpedition Sitka this morning for the very same reason, I have bigger bags but wanted something smaller for short trips. I'll be a Dad in 10 weeks.

There was a code in the survival forums somewhere for 16% off at LA Police gear, also free shipping and a free hat for Maxpedition stuff over a $100. I don't know how long it was for and I can't find the thread now, but I did write the code down, when I get home tonight I'll post it up if anyone is interested.
