I have a jpg sized properly and 12.5kb of info, less than the upper limit.

I have it in my computer photo album, and I also have it on Photobucket.

When I go to my profile and click "download avatar", I get a tiny "error on page" message in the lower left hand corner of the screen, and I get the box to change my avatar.

I have tried fifteen ways from Sunday to download from Photobucket. No luck.
I have tried typing in the picture info from my personal computer, adding [img] etc., [url] etc., and adding nothing.

When I push the submit button, nothing happens, ever. Nothing. I have cleared my cache multiple times, once while I was waiting for the submit button to again do nothing.

How do I change my avatar???

When I right click on the pic and go to properties, this is the info I have;

uwe-boll-zombie-massacre-21[1] (5)

What do I need to add to this to get the submit button to consider doing it's job?

You're uploading the avatar from your PC (photobucket is not involved)

Go to Edit Profile
Click on Upload Avatar

Click on Browse to open a File Upload Dialogue Window

find your avatar file Click on Open

You should see a file path displayed in AR15.Coms Dialogue Box

Something like this

Click Submit

You'll be returned to the main Edit Profile Page.

Thank you!!

I am an idiot.

I didn't realize it, but I had to scroll over to see the browse button.
I thought I was seeing the whole screen, but the right side, with the browse button, was hidden.

You have been very helpful.
I apologize for wasting your time, and for this hideous avatar.

Weird

I changed my avatar on Saturday morning.  I was on ARF Saturday and Sunday and the new avatar was "working" just fine.  Didn't touch the "Edit Profile" section since.

I log on this morning and my OLD avatar is now back.

WTF happened.

This is the avatar I see for you.

Is it correct?

If you're seeing something else it's probably a caching issue on your PC or at your ISP level.

Do a force reload for your browser to make it download the files over again instead of using what it has saved.

Thanks, the force reload worked
