Went to a large Sportsamn gun auction today. Probably had over 500 guns and lasted all day. I went for a few hours just to see what was there. Saw a Colt SP1 sell for $1000, it looked all original. I ended up getting a S&W Model 1905 Hand ejector, 4th revision. This pistol is in 60% condition and is likely about 100 years old. Best thing is I got it for $85 bucks. I doubt I would shoot it being that old. Timing is off a little bit so it might spit a little lead. There were 2 M1 Carbines that went for $350 and $250, neither were GI. Anice mauser custome rifle, double set triggers,engraved,gold inlay etc. went for $3500. Chinook3 |
