I just got a new laptop delivered to me today and I'm curious what your software of choice is for removing bloatware. I understand the typical Control Panel Add/Remove Programs utility doesn't quite cut it. I have not started the laptop up yet so I'm not exactly sure what all is on there. But I'm sure it has some Norton trial and a mass of other worthless apps/utilities. I can determine what programs need to go, but what is arfcom's software of choice? Decrapifier, CClean, Revo, or some combination thereof?
Thanks! Brian |

The 100% sure way is to find (download) the OEM disk for the version of OS you have a valid key for and start from scratch. Interesting - I can download that from Microsoft or something? OEM disks are free, just look around, usenet, torrents. It's your license key that counts and that's what makes you ligit. |

Ok, and I assume the OEM disc I just used to install Windows 7 on the build I did for my mom two weeks ago would work, too. Thanks! |

Go by what the license key on the side of the case says, if you don't it won't authenticate There are 6 versions of Win 7. |
