... well they are, but only the original post appears when you open the thread.

None of the replies appear.

I'm guessing it's just a glitch from the change and hoping #1 gets it worked out soon.

Here's what GoatBoy told me when I inquired about a problem I had with an archive search.

and I quote:

No it looks like some of those threads have lost their tie to replies. (Data corruption maybe, or possibly an error in retrieval.) It's not out of the question that some data may have been lost as well so I would have to check backups and live data. It's not the archive that's broken it's a data issue.

Doesn't sound good.

This may sound petty but other than wanting to support this site, and the fact that I need spell check in a bad way, the access to the older archived information was the main reason that I purchased a membership.

I just noticed this as well and It really stinks.  Research is a huge part of any purchase that I make.  If I cant find out what others have said about the products that are trying to be sold on this website or through it, then I am hesitant to buy them on spec alone.  Not having the archive is a waste of my hard earned money, as well as keeping money in my pocket that I would spend with vendors advertising here.  I hope they get this fixed soon.

Some of the newest topics moved in are corrupt so they need to be added in again from backups. I'll get to that as quick as I can, but it's not a huge issue as it's a small number of posts.

In regards to the archive and the thread mentioned above, the archives display more results per page than the live servers which is why the page numbers do not match. The information is there. Threads missing information will only show a topic and will be missing ALL replies. (Those are the ones to be fixed.)

Hope this makes sense.

Still broken: Archive of "What have you done this week ammowise (Part 1)"

I had intended on adding up all the different purchases to be compiled in a list and put on the present thread (Part II), but no joy...

The missing/corrupt content is only from the last archive update which only includes recent posts. All older content is untouched and complete. Restoration of missing items will be done as soon as I can put the time into it. (I would guess by month's end.)

Can you give me a specific post to check? Only the last batch had corrupted data which basically dumped a bunch of replies and need to be reloaded/restored from backups. If you find an older thread with similar problems, I need to know so I can check into it.

It took longer than expected due to the nature of the problem. We had to pull old backups to ensure the data was imported properly into the archives. So far it looks like everything is good and back to full steam.

Again, please let me know if there's any other problems with the archive data.

Everything appears to to be working fine now,  I was able to find the thread AND the reply I was searching for.

Thanks again, GB.
