| AT&T sucks an I'm tired of my iPhone. Sprint has the best rates and I can get 4g in my area. I'm thinking of switching over and getting the new HTC evo 4g phone. How good is sprint? |
|
I've had Sprint for about 6 years. Around here the reception is ok, but often times other people will have service when I don't get any.
My bill is pretty high. I have unlimited minutes, no roaming, unlimited texts and no data plan or internet and it still runs me $91 a month. I've been looking around to find something better. I have to do the no roaming thing, because I live in the sticks. |
| I have had Sprint for years and they have always worked well for me. Sprint has no charges for roaming, so basically you have a signal any place that ANYONE has a signal, as long as your phone has roaming activated. I have a fairly hefty bill but I have four phones on the account. |

| I've been with sprint for 3 years. Before I switched I activated a new line and carried 2 cell phones for a month to compare service. It was comparable to ATT, so I ported my #. I pay $67 a month for 500 anytime and unlimited everything else- that figure includes taxes. Don't forget on the unlimited plans you get free calls to any mobile #, not just sprint customers. I hardly use any of my anytime minutes. |

| I love sprint, I have unlimited everything (internet, calling to anywhere in U.S. or Canada for as long as I want, unlimited texting and picture messaging) for 70 dollars a month after taxes and that includes insurance on my phone. But that includes a discount from my employer, still great rates though. |

I just called the store and they said: "We're supposed to find out in September when we can pick up the Evo 4G." SEPTEMBER?! Fuck me running! The phone's been out for 2 months already. |

Sprint now has the everything plan for 69.99 includes unlimited text, Internet, and unlimited calling to any mobile phone on any carrier. The unintelligent sales person I spoke with told me that plan is not available with the no roaming feature, so I would end up paying WAY more than I do now because most of my calls are made from a "roaming" location. It seems that fact kinda screws me, but if you aren't in a postion where roaming is an issue then you should be good to go. I had Alltell way back in the day and Sprint beats them hands down. |
| I pay $50 a month for unlimted everything but voice. Since I have a work phone I dont need more minutes. I always have service, even in the subway and ball parks here. I use a lot of data and regularly pull between 1.5 and 2.2 kbps which is great considering I dont have 4g. I couldnt be happier but I dont have a free phone. Others here with the cheaper phones dont get service in places that I do. |

Are you anywhere near NoVA? If so I've got a guy who will hook you up. |

I've had my EVDO card through Sprint for 3 years now, I upgraded to the 3g/4g modem last year. It's been great... I can get good signal for my laptop on 95 from Virginia all the way down to Florida... fantastic for a bored teenager.
I don't know much about their cell phones, though. |
