I run Fedora Core 4 on my PowerBook G4, and run Ubuntu and Kubuntu 5.10 on my main PC.  I just run windows on my lan party machine, as its only purpose in life is playing games.

All the servers I'm in charge of either run Fedora 4, Redhat Enterprise 3 or Fedora 5.

All in total at home (I've been trying real hard lately to consolidate and get rid of boxes...). I'm running debian sarge on my main system, knoppmyth on my PVR box (got lazy trying to get the tuner to work right). Unslung on a Linksys NSLU2, and openwrt on a Linksys WTR54G. No problems with anything... My xbox is hard modded and I've been debating about trying Xebian on that too. Anyone have any luck with that?

I think Slack is easy but I've been using Linux for quite some time. If you're a newbie, you're better off using Fedora. You'll catch on faster w/Fedora.

Wow!  A working NextStation?  Haven't seen one of those in years.  Loved NextStep, Objective C, Display Postscript and all.  Some interesting and innovative software was written for that OS.  Hardware was so expensive that no one could afford the stuff, though.

Ran it on a secondary box at work for the last five years or so.   I finally decided a few weeks ago that I no longer want to deal with formatting and reinstalling windoze every few months So I installed FC4 on my main pc at home and haven't looked back..   I installed VM Ware to run XP for the few win32 apps that I still want to use, but other than that, I couldnt be happier.
