I would like to learn Java with the goal of being able to develop an Android app.
Are there any sources you would recommend for achieving this? I've started reading some tutorials but none of them are as hands on as I'd like. I can read until I'm blue in the face but it doesn't mean I'll remember it all when I go to code something. What I imagine is tutorial project that starts with a simple concept and moves on up providing a new lesson for each more complex section. All building towards an end goal of having an app that does something. |

plenty of tutorials on youtube , the SDK is downloadable for ICS and well as many other resource right from google.
