I took a guy from work out shooting today - he had never shot a rifle. First I stopped by UltiMAK's shop and picked up a 30 carbine with an Aimpoint and a SAR-3 with a Bushnell Holosight. I had my AR15 with the EOTech Holosight and a deep-space telescope. Took him to a gravel pit and let him rip - at 100 yards I had him hitting targets, no problem. Driving him home, he kept asking where to buy an AK and how much is an AR and where can I get a pistol?  The place I work is full of GFWs -- I'm doing my part to knock that number down. |
| Excellent work. CajunMojo and I had a similar experience yesterday on our trip to the range. He brought a friend along who had only been shooting once (years ago) and started him on a .22 pistol. By the time the day was out he was shooting the .40 and .45 and the AR's as well. The ride home he was asking questions about how much it costs, where to get things, when are we going again, it was pretty cool. |
