you gotta draw a shape and let it land on the left side of the ball to make it go right, and vice versa

draw a ball (or a rock) above it, let it fall, and that will start the ball rolling.

i had that happen to me, so i built a see-saw like device and flipped it, in your case i suggest trying to flip the structure off the platform
