So I was researching online to buy a shot timer and discovered that there is a free IPSC shot timer app for android phones. It has comstock, Virginia and par time settings. You can adjust the sound sensitivity for dry fire or live fire. The app is pretty bad a**! I was playing around with it last night using the random buzzer and drawing and dry firing. My side is so bruised from doing it so many times. Got my draw and fire down to .89 seconds though. Ugh the things I do to entertain myself. Just thought that some of you guys might want to know about this crazy cool free app.

It never worked well for me and I wound up buying a CED timer anyway.  It may have just been my phone at the time, though.

The one I have is called "IPSC Shot Timer (Beta)" and it works great on my phone (HTC Vivid).

It's free, but allows quite a bit of user adjustability and customization.

I had bad luck with the old versions, but I'll try it again. Attention iPhone users, Surefire Shot Timer is in the App Store.

Downloading. Remember, it's not entertainment, it's training and practice.

You work for the government and this is just a ploy to collect as much information on gun owners as possible isn't it!
