What a night.
I had a car try to pull me over tonight on my way from work. They were 4 civilians impersonating a cop. They had one of those intercom systems along with a siren. They kept repeating that they were police and to pull over. Unfortunate for them I had noticed them about a half mile away and didnt heed to their demands. They kept following me flashing their lights and telling me to pull over and that they were the police. Mind you this was through a subdivision. I booked it out of dodge and got to a public area as soon as possible. Their was about 4 individuals from what I had seen when I first observed them. I knew which way they were headed but my dumbass couldn't think properly and gave the dispatcher the wrong direction during my adrenaline dump. I did have the accurate description of the vehicle. I believe the police caught them as they were trying to pull more people over because the officer that was taking my statement got something over his radio and booked it towards the area that they first came out of. No draw down but what an adrenaline pump. & no cool story bro's. |

generally on a newspaper stand at the gas station. see if your local paper has a website.. even a small ass town should update interesting busts within a day. my town lists practically every arrest but when it comes to finding out about accidents and such they never get posted.
i see this was newsworthy http://www.clickondetroit.com/news/23095008/detail.html |

Quoted: Fuckin fags. Most of the time one is a volunteer firefighter. Faggots give us a bad name... Yeah we had some problems with a couple of our own in town. We were getting reports of them pulling people over with their red lights (We use blue, they use red). They are no longer with the Fire Dept. |

Quoted:
What do you expect they would have done had you pulled over? just messing around or possibly a robbery? maybe they wanted to shower you with hugs and kittens.
Well I tell you one thing. I wasn't going to stick around and find out. One of them could of been armed. I wouldn't be typing this right now would I. Knowing my area that wouldn't be so far fetched. |

Stupid question, but how did you know they were fake? Just 4 guys in a 'cop' car tip you off or was it something else? Situational awareness. They turned their lights completely off when they glided into the subdivision. Then they began flashing their high breams telling me "Pull over This is the police". Plus I noticed them when I passed them on the road originally before they started following me. ( They were trying to pull someone else over) When you see 4 individuals that dressed like thugs..its a clear indicator that their not police. Unless the police got new uniforms to fit in with the new urbanites. |

Do you mind saying which part of the state you were in at the time just in case these bozo's didn't get caught? Metro Detroit area. Car description: 2004-2008 Grand Prix Color: Dark Grey. Dispatcher was asking if I had a license plate. I would and all but... they were trying to pull ME over thus putting me in a predicament in seeing the license plate. They would of been caught real fast If I didn't screw up the direction they were heading. |

I'm usually never closer than 5 miles to the D, but I'll keep an eye out for them. |

Just out of morbid curiousity....
You weren't blocking their lane and playing asshole on the road were you? Quoted:
....I find the slowest person around and I set my cruise to their speed. I watch for hilarity. You realize OP. The posted speed limit is the MAXIMUM speed you can go. Not the suggested speed. |
