Who's up for some heroin grunge rock? I still love Jerry Cantrell's sound. I also can't believe this is 24 years old.

I saw them back in 1990 opening for Van Halen and a couple of years ago opening for Velvet Revolver.  Layne's replacement is not the front man any more but they still sound the same.  I have tickets to see their headlining show in May.

Love em'. I have seen them three times with the new singer. If you close your eyes, he sounds just like Layne. I saw them do their unplugged set at the Ryman Auditorium. It was the greatest show of all the concerts that I have been to.

Met them a few times in the early 90's through some
friends. I believe one buddy from HS still tours with them.

Their music just doesn't get old.

AIC is my favorite band.

Their new stuff is ok, but doesn't compare to when Staley was around.

Agreed, 1990 was a long time ago though. I really like this one off their new album. Dark, lurching bluesy sound.

Not thrilled about the fact that Layne is not there but I have to say that this is probably the only instance where a replacement "leadman" has somewhat worked.

I think sound wise he sounds very good but song writing wise they don't have the same feel as before. Songs are good but the old songs are epic.

AIC is still one of my faves. Layne Stayley's voice was PERFECT for their music. Jerry Cantrell's harmony didn't hurt.
