I've been using my airbrush set-up to apply Gun Kote to an FAL project I'm working on. The thing was chugging along fine and then the pressure started dropping every time I depressed the airbrush button. I set the regulator at 22-25 PSI and it would drop to around 15-18 PSI (no paint flow). Then I boosted the pressure up to around 40-50 PSI to see what would happen, the pressure still dropped down to less than 20 PSI. I checked for any leaks around the compressor seals, fittings, hose line, regulator, etc and there were none. The compressor is a Sparmax AC-100 (tankless model). www.sparmax.com.tw/oil-less.htm Any ideas of what could be wrong and/or how to fix it? |
