This happened not far from where I live, heard the call go out over the fire radio.
I don't like the fact that an 11yr old died, but he should have known better. Also, the two other young passengers were quickly scooped up by their parents and fled the scene. I wonder how LE will handle that situation? http://www.10tv.com/content/stories/2014/09/21/hebron-ohio-11-year-old-boy-killed-in-atv-crash.html |

Quoted: Stealing an ATV was not high on my list of things to get done at age 11. Maybe my parents raised me right though. ![]() If you could see the parents or the shindig that precipitated this deal, you'd figure out the difference between your parents and this turd's. |

Hopefully the dead one serves as a positive, constructive lesson to the two survivors and they straighten their lives up. Some people have more value in death than in life. They learned early how to flee a scene. I bet the parents sue the landowner where the kid was killed. |

Forget the fact that they stole it. The times we live in... |

Yeah, I have a feeling this wasn't a social gathering of the upper class. They finally released the kids info, kind of surprised where he lived. |

I doubt any positive lessons will stick considering the negative lessons their parents are obviously teaching them by "scooping them up and fleeing the scene". I have a sneaky suspicion that is where they learned their irresponsibility.

11 year old steals an ATV, takes it for a joyride, and kills himself? Sorry, but it's hard to find sympathy. I disagree, someone kid died. Stupid or not that was someone baby... I totally agree Rooster. He's was just a kid. I even feel for the parents, no matter how trashy they are. They lost a child over something completely stupid. |
