Trying to figure out how to print on my home PC printer from my laptop... I've gone through the wizard on my PC to share the printer, now how do I add it to my laptop? The wizard on my laptop asks for the printer location. Where do I find that info? Thanks! |
All of your computers will need to be on the same workgroup on the network. All of your computes should have unique names as well. So on your laptop, you should be able to browse network computers, find the computer that the printer is attached to, and then double click on the printer name. It will then "connect" your laptop to that printer and install any necessary drivers. -d |

Excellent. Now, how exactly do I do that? No, wait...I know how to get to the "add printer" part, but when it asks for the location of the printer, I'm lost. Here's my setup: Home PC with a wireless network set up. Printer plugged into the PC. Already have run the wizard to share the printer. Laptop connected to my wireless network. |
