This afternoon, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche will announce the rollout of a landmark package of 34 proposed and final rules representing the culmination of DOJ’s and ATF’s comprehensive regulatory review conducted pursuant to the direction in Executive Order 14206 “Protecting Second Amendment Rights.” This milestone marks a significant step forward in the Administration’s commitment to regulatory reform and is reflective of ATF’s New Era of Reform launched last year. Later today the DOJ and ATF are scheduled to release a long-awaited package of regulatory changes expected to roll back several Biden-era unconstitutional gun control rules. I decided to head down there for myself to see exactly what’s going on. We don’t have the text of the package yet, so we don’t know how good the policies are or if there are any stinkers in it. @gunrights will let you know as more information becomes available. |

33 of the 34 rules are the proper abbreviation of it being BATFE, sometime with periods between letters and sometimes not. Also that ATF is acceptable sometimes with periods, sometimes not. This will all be dependent on which person at the agency is interpreting the law. The 34th rule is going to be the proper way to dispose of a shot dog. |
