Will be down probably for a min or two while I make a few changes to the way they run.

Update includes:
---------------------

- My Topics
Will now list the last 25 topics you authored, regardless of date. Remember that these topics will be aged off after 30 days and moved to the archive server. (Currently they are not... but soon!!!)

- Active Topics
Still list topics with activity in the past 24 hour period. The only change is I forgot to filter out forums with member lists. (oops!)

- My Active Topics
Will now span a 72 hour period of time, but still limited to the top 50 threads.

Hope this makes things a little easier on everyone. Also, for those who don't see their active topics updating quickly, your browser is probably caching the page, so reload/refresh or change your browser settings!

This stuff will probably go haywire in the next few minutes as I push the fixes without taking the site down.

Sounds good.

Does the moving to archive after 30 days stuff mean we won't be able to btt a two month old thread any more?

Will non-"team members" have access to the archive server?

Thanks

Keep up the good work, the site runs great now !

Ok all done!

Archive Threads will go to a data wharehouse where Team Members can search through everything from this site's launch to current topics. (Last 30 days = current and will live on the live site.) Those topics will be in a read only state for reference and reflection.

Anything tacked will stay with current data, regardless of it's date.

I don't remember, how far back were "My Active Topics" subjects held in memory before?  Longer, I'm assuming.

Cool!  Thanks!

Active Topics appears also limited to 50 topics -- before it was a lot longer listing.  Is this an oversight?

What I get is:

50 most recently active topics :: Compiled In 0 Seconds

Maybe because I am "cache"ing?  I just started running Mozilla Firefox, so I'll have to poke around ans see.

Anyway, a minor bitch, but a HUGE ATTABOY!!!

This site rocks, and it's all you!!!

How do we get the old threads from the "old" ARFCOM?

Specifically    "http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=123&t=182453"     had to do with BOBs and a full list and pictures that I want to show my friend.

Does this mean the "active topics" will always only list the last 50 posts?  The spread from top to bottom is only 10 minutes.  I used to like coming home after work and browsing an entire day's posts.

Other than that, I like.  Thanks for the work.

P.S. Any ETA on the "search" function?
