I know there is alot of experience on this board with 4x4 vehicles and I have a question. I wasn't able to find any info on this truck anywhere on the net. It is a 1992 Dodge(Mitsubishi) Ram 50 4x4 with a 4cyl. 2.4 engine and 5 speed. I have the opportunity to buy this truck for a great price and it only has 96,000 miles on it. No leaks and it runs great. My questions are: Do these engines have any weak points? What about the drive train? I would think that it would be a reliable truck like a Toyota but I'm not sure. Basically it will be my everday driver. It gets pretty good gas mileage too . Thanks.... |

Keep looking for information. Try looking with 'mighty max' as a search term. I've got no experience with these, but normally small Jap trucks are decent. All cars are machines, and all machines eventually have problems. IMO, this would be an expensive on to get parts for... You will get lots of 'not a real truck' responses. Listen only if you are intending to do some serious off roading. |
