If they didn't work out of the package Wilson needs to replace them.

Pulling and stretching them isn't the answer –– a spring has its designed-in compressed and expanded range.

If Wilson won't then I'd replace them with chrome-silicon ISMI springs (you have to call them direct and specify they're for the 47Ds –– they're narrower to accommodate the 8-round follower).  Wolff springs are also an option but you have to again specify they're for 47Ds.

It's worth it's own thread - there's not much else going on in GD right now anyway.

When I used to have an Oly 9mm upper that used Sten mags, it was common to have to stretch a sten-mag spring a few inches in order for it to function. I did a lot of them that way, ran them a lot, and they worked fine.

I realize, of course, that new springs would be better.
